The Rural Housing Advisory Group was set up in April 2007 at the request of the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
Its membership is drawn from a wide variety of rural stakeholders who meet quarterly and produce an annual report to Ministers at the DCLG.
The Group's aim is to advise the HCA and Government on, and seek ways to improve, delivery of affordable rural housing; promoting joint working between key stakeholders through the provision of a forum for sharing good practice and encouraging innovation.
