Margaret Allen

Executive Director – Midlands

Margaret Allen joined the HCA from the Housing Corporation where she was the Field Director – Central, responsible for delivery of the Corporation’s Investment and Regulation objectives across East Midlands, East of England and the West Midlands.

Margaret has experience of housing in both the public and private sectors. As a chartered cccountant she worked at Leicester City Council and then moved to the position of Head of Finance with a Midlands-based Housing Association.

In her work at the Housing Corporation she undertook senior roles in both regulation and investment. She sees community development at the heart of her role and has sat on the Board of both market renewal and growth delivery boards. Margaret has taken an active interest in design, where this means liveability and creating places to be proud of.
