
Keith House is a Liberal Democrat councillor representing Hedge End Wildern Ward on Eastleigh Borough Council since 1991 and is also a Town and Parish Councillor. He has been leader of the Council since 1994.
He is also a County Councillor for Hampshire, representing Bursledon, Hamble and Netley, and a Board Member (Governor) at Barton Peveril College. He has served as a Board Member of the South East England Development Agency since 2002 and was reappointed in 2009 until planned closure in April 2012.
Keith's interests outside of local government include working with emerging democracies in eastern Europe and central Asia. He has worked as an election observer in a number of countries including Russia, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
