HCA welcomes Budget cash

Homes and Communities Agency chief executive, Sir Bob Kerslake, welcomed the new funding being made available to the agency saying. “We are delighted to have been given these additional resources. This will give us more flexibility and opportunities to unlock sites for new and affordable housing, responding to local needs and those of the housing industry and councils. We are really keen to bring local authorities into the development arena and to ensure more homes are delivered as soon as possible.”
The HCA expects to announce further details of how the new funding will be implemented within the next two weeks.
