Despite a challenging operating climate we exceeded our targets for 2009/10, delivering over 56,000 housing completions and enabling work to start on almost 65,000 new and affordable homes.
Working with our partners to deliver local ambitions for place, we responded innovatively to the market and developed strong foundations on which to build in 2010/11.

¹Some outputs delivered under the Property and Regeneration Programme relate to the National Coalfields Programme and are jointly recorded by the Regional Development agencies. These include 62 housing completions, 269 housing starts on site, 265 ha of brownfield land reclaimed and 24,952 sq m of employment floorspace created.
