Graduates

We train graduates in all aspects of housing and regeneration, with opportunities to contribute to some of the most exciting projects in the country.

Want to work in housing and regeneration?

The HCA is the single, national housing and regeneration agency for England. We bring together the development and regeneration expertise of English Partnerships, the investment functions of the Housing Corporation, and the Academy for Sustainable Communities, with major delivery programmes of Communities and Local Government.

Our role is to create opportunity for people to live in high quality, sustainable places. We provide funding for affordable housing, bring land back into productive use and improve quality of life by raising standards for the physical and social environment.

By joining the Homes and Communities Agency Graduate Development Programme you will be contributing to some of the most high profile, complex and innovative housing and regeneration projects in the UK.

What to expect

You will have the opportunity to spend two years within our organisation gaining valuable insights into all aspects of what we do, with our full funding to study for a recognised qualification.

You will learn about and have hands–on experience of many different areas of housing and regeneration and contribute to some of the most exciting housing and regeneration projects in the country.

Through workshops and master classes, one-to-one coaching and self-directed learning, you will develop your professional and technical competence alongside skills development in areas such as strategic thinking, managing relationships and commercial acumen.

We have places for twelve trainees to be based across any of the following locations:

  • Bristol
  • London
  • Warrington
  • Manchester
  • Leeds
  • Bracknell
  • Milton Keynes
  • Cambridge
