Deborah McLaughlin is Executive Director for the North West. Working with local authority, registered providers and developer partners, she is responsible for delivering the Government’s national housing and regeneration priorities across the North West.
This diverse operating area, covering large conurbations, coastal towns and rural settlements, includes Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire. One of Deborah’s main roles is to support the 41 local authorities in the North meet their economic growth and regeneration priorities. Deborah’s teams work closely with local communities, councils and businesses to make sure that HCA’s investment delivers high quality affordable homes, supports wider housing growth and makes the best use of local land assets.
Deborah has responsibility for the national Asset Management and Estate Services, who look after the Agency’s land holdings. Prior to joining the HCA in 2008, Deborah was Director of Housing for Manchester City Council.
