As of April 2012 the Homes and Communities Agency’s London functions have been devolved to the GLA. The HCA will act as regulator of social housing providers in London, and will continue to manage the following five areas of operation under specific delegation from the Mayor:

• Get Britain Building
• Management of the Berkeley Private Rented Sector Initiative scheme
• Private Finance Initiative monitoring
• Post Sales HomeBuy Agent service and monitoring of equity schemes (up to April 2014)
• Administration of the Armed Forces Home Ownership Scheme on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
