Published date : 5 December 2011

The Graylingwell Park Partnership is celebrating after scooping not one, but two prestigious awards at the What House? Awards; Gold for ‘Best Sustainable Development’ and Silver for ‘Best Brownfield Development’.

Graylingwell Park in Chichester is a joint development by Linden Homes, Affinity Sutton and the Homes and Communities Agency.  It was also a great day for the partnership behind the scheme as Affinity Sutton won a Gold Award for ‘Housing Association of the Year’ and Linden Homes won a Bronze Award for ‘Housebuilder of the Year’.

Peter Youll, managing director of Linden Homes Guildford, comments:

“We are absolutely delighted to have won two more awards for Graylingwell Park – I truly believe these are testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.”

Kerry Kyriacou, director of development and new business at Affinity Sutton, says:

“This is more great news for the team at Graylingwell Park who have worked so hard to make this a fantastic place.  We are also delighted in being named Housing Association of the Year.”

Set within 85 acres of parkland, Graylingwell Park is less than a mile from Chichester city centre. This award-winning scheme, is the UK’s largest carbon neutral development.  High quality, energy-efficient homes are set in glorious surroundings with nature trails and plenty of green open spaces. With environmental sustainability and community at its heart, Graylingwell Park will have an orchard, farm shop, community hall and even allotments for residents to grow their own food.
